Scholarship/Financial Aid

AAMS provides financial aid in the form of merit scholarships for students who demonstrate academic excellence alongside financial need. To be eligible for these need-based scholarships, the student must be a U.S. citizen and meet one or more of the Federal Required indicators listed to the right >

Scholarship/Financial Aid

Language Learning

A student's annual family income falls within the Income Eligibility Guidelines established by the Federal Government, qualifying them for various financial aid opportunities. The student may also be enrolled in a federal, state, or local program that supports individuals from low-income families, potentially opening doors to need-based scholarships. Additionally, if the student's family receives public assistance, lives in federally subsidized public housing, is in a foster home, or is experiencing homelessness, these factors can further substantiate their financial need. Moreover, a request from a high school principal, counselor, financial aid officer, or community leader can provide additional context regarding the student's eligibility for both need-based scholarships and merit scholarships.

Submission

The AAMS Alumni Scholarship Program

Language Learning

Requests for financial aid, including merit scholarships and need-based scholarships, must be submitted in a written letter along with the application. This letter must also include the parents' previous two years of federal and state tax returns for review.

The awarded merit scholarships will provide the winners with an opportunity to serve as a Teaching Assistant at the 2025 Advanced Cardiothoracic Surgical Skills Conference, which can also help with financial aid for those who qualify for need-based scholarships.
